Campaign: "SVdP thrift stores are great places to buy your Halloween costume." The LA Daily News, Torrance Daily Breeze, Long Beach Press-Telegram, and 4 other sister newspapers ran the story as the lead article on their Home pages.
Campaign: Create public awareness of SVdP's Christmas Baskets program, in which volunteers stuff holiday food baskets for struggling families. After receiving my press release and reviewing our photos, the Associated Press decided to put photos from the event out on the wire.
Campaign: Encourage audiences to buy tickets for a benefit concert co-organized by SVdP. The LA Daily News, Torrance Daily Breeze, Long Beach Press-Telegram and four sister newspapers ran an item about the event in the Best Bets column on the front page of their Features section.
Campaign: Persuade audiences to buy tickets for the Pasadena Mayor's Interfaith Breakfast. The Pasadena Star-News ran three stories, a 12-photo picture gallery, and one Social Calendar item.

Campaign: Encourage audiences to watch the TV premiere of AFF's new documentary, "The 20th Century Odyssey of Herbert Zipper," about the noted Los Angeles conductor-composer.
Campaign: Publicize the 235th Birthday celebration of the City of Los Angeles. The LA Times published an article, a video, and a photograph in its online California section. Press release was provided by the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument. I wrote a cover email and sent it and the press release to my media contact at the LA Times, who decided to cover the story.
